Charging Ahead: Aerem Raises ₹100 Crore ($12 M) from UTEC
Aerem (Blume Fund IV) has secured ₹100 crore in a mixed equity and debt funding round led by Japan-based venture fund UTEC, with participation from Blume Ventures, British International Investment (BII), SE Ventures, Riverwalk Holdings, and Avaana Capital.
Currently operating in 65 cities, the Solartech startup plans to use the funds to expand operations across eastern and southern India, enhance its solar financing and marketplace solutions, strengthen its end-to-end platform, and diversify its lending portfolio.
“Getting a solar installation is complex for an Indian MSME or homeowner. There exists a massive trust deficit throughout the fragmented ecosystem,” noted Anand Jain, founder and CEO of the Mumbai-based company, which was founded in 2021 and initially focused on asset financing for rooftop solar projects.
Optimized Electrotech Joins Blume Portfolio
We welcome Optimized Electrotech to the Blume Fund IV portfolio as we led their $6 million round (₹50 Crore) alongside Mela Ventures, with participation from 9Unicorns and existing investors.
The Ahmedabad-based deeptech startup specializes in AI-powered imaging and surveillance solutions for space and defence sectors, having secured four patents and won multiple innovation challenges under the Ministry of Defence’s IDEX initiative.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to develop next-generation imaging payloads for ISR systems and high-speed space imaging.

Atomicwork (Blume Fund IV) has launched its Universal Agent, an enterprise-grade AI assistant designed to transform workplace support with consumer-level simplicity.
